Derek Adkisson

Derek is  leading Captive Manager for Align Risk Solutions. He is a qualified CPA with many years of expansive experience in public accounting, throughout a variety of different industries. Prior to Align, he worked for The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance as a Captive Insurance Specialist where he would analyze, monitor, and examine approximately 240 risk bearing entities. He reviewed the captive applications and drafted approval recommendations to the Commissioner, as well as performing annual reviews for each entity. Derek is an integral member of the Align team, from implementing the feasibility and formation phases, he is also involved in all regulatory, business plan and application functions to eventually performing the overall management of the captive entity.
